Our client IWAR, an institute of TU Darmstadt, exhibits its project Semizentral Germany at the EXPO 2010. Whilst preparing for the EXPO, our client thought a more functional and professionalized website would suit the project. The Semizentral concept offers integrated infrastructure solutions for the supply and disposal of water, wastewater and waste. Our client‘s website is mainly frequented by an international audience with either a background in research or industry and business, interested in the results of IWAR‘s innovative work and its collaborations with partners from the academic and private sector around the world.

We came up with a concept for an entire new website, thereby integrating our client‘s wishes: improved functionality, easy accessibility, globally understandable - even for a Vietnamese and Chinese audience. Also, an increased amount of information needed to be structured in a more efficient way. At first sight, these requirements are fulfilled by our new design. The tools we provided in the backend do the job beneath the surface: programming the site with a content management system in Typo3, with a concept that includes all options regarding add-ons and alterations needed in the future. In short: highly functional, low-maintenance technology in a variable, modern look.
